A new eco-based site in The Forest Of Dean consisting of ten geodesic domes, with eco systems that rangr from heating your own water in a reclaimed oak brandy cask to using the neighbours' waste bottles as drainage and heat sinks in the domes. The domes are heated by woodburning stoves using logs harvested in the forest just yards from the site. Excess heat collecting in the top is driven down into insulated boxes of recycled glass under the floor by a solar fan. During the night it can be used again to keep the dome warm.. The paths and decks are drained using layers of recycled glass collected from neighbours on the May bank holiday and the water for the garden comes from the roof of the buildings.
