Emirates -founded in 1985, Emirates is the
official airline of the United Arab Emirates. It is one of the
fastest growing airlines in the world. Based in Dubai, they offer
a very modern fleet, flying between more than 100 destinations
within the Middle East, Indian sub-continent, the Far East, Africa,
the Indian Ocean, Australia and New Zealand. On-board facilities
include individual in-seat satellite phone and personal TV screens
with more than 40 channels of inflight entertainment as standard.
Emirates offers 14 flights
a day to Dubai from six UK airports, including five daily flights
from Heathrow, three from London Gatwick, two from Manchester
and Birmingham, one from Glasgow and from 1st September 2007
a daily flight from Newcastle.
