In the winter, there is a log burner to keep the chill at bay and the well insulated walls and roof keep it nice and cosy. A perfect retreat at any time of year for up to four people. Top Cottage is just nine miles from Penzance railway station where bikes and cars are available for hire. A regular year round bus service runs to Sennen Cove.

Enjoining fantastic views, the lodges are clad in English cedar insulated with pure lambs wool with environmentally friendly green roofs, one with a living sedum roof and the other with slates made from recyled car tyres. A reed bed has been dug and planted to purify the water from the septic tank. Each has its own private hot tub and breakfast is available from the farmhouse.

They work very hard to minimise their carbon footprint and have a Gold award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme -the cottages are highly insulated and energy is provided through solar hot water, wind turbine and heating for four of the cottages from a locally supplied woodchip boiler district heating system. Most of all, this is a wonderful place to walk and explore.
