Surfers against Sewage -
The non-profit-making campaigning organisation who aim for clean recreational waters, free from sewage effluent, toxic chemicals, nuclear waste, and marine litter. They were founded in 1990 by a group of surfers who were 'sick of getting sick' and have had considerable success in cleaning up our waters.
Surf Relief UK -
Established in 2005 to raise funds to support victims of the 2004 Tsunami, this charitable organisation has continued to raise funds for good causes related to surfing, incluiding surf coaching for disabled people.
